This is a fantastic opportunity for a Conference and Events Manager who loves operations and leading a team.
As Conference and Events Manager, you will provide day-to-day operational management leading a team in the delivery of a first class catering service for conferences, events and banqueting. As Conference and Events Manager you will be one of a few Conference and Events Managers reporting into the Operations Manager.
The role of Conference and Events Manager is predominantly Monday to Friday with some evenings and one weekend working per month. You will have your rota one month in advance where any changes can be made. Lieu days will be given for any weekend worked in the following week and you will always have your days off together. If you have any activities or groups you attend in the week this will be factored in so you do not work over these times. The company is very fair and will always make sure everyone is happy and keeps doing what they love to do outside of work.
As Conference and Events Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility for the conference and event operations as directed to include food service, bars, back of house and storage areas.
