We are currently looking for a head chef to lead the kitchen at a very prestigious Independent school whilst working with the exec head chef alongside the general manager in this stunning independant school on the outskirts of Watford.
For the head chef your hours are predominately Monday to Friday,straight day shifts , but will include working the odd weekend and the odd evening for events, so some flexibility is required to meet the business requirements.
As the head Chef you will be working for a busy contract catering company who expect the highest standards. You will be providing catering services for hospitality, banqueting events and functions as well as the daily breakfast , lunch service for the pupils. This role will suit a existing head chef who is looking to come into contract catering or somebody who is simply looking for a new challenge with a new company.
This an independent school that caters for 1100 pupils daily .Your role will be to oversee with the daily operation and manage the kitchen brigade whilst working closely with the exec head chef and a team of around 6 chefs, Ideally somebody who has had the exposure previously and somebody who is capable of planning the menus with an eye on what is happening on the high St. A commercial background would be an advantage.

Salary £43k for 48 weeks
