Our client is currently looking for a Head Chef to run the main fine dining kitchen with a team of 10 chefs & pastry and work alongside the exec chef of this stunning 5* Star hotel in a beautiful location in Scotland.
You will be working in a busy kitchen where we cater for a discerning audience providing services in the fine dining restaurant, along with regular banqueting events and the brasserie restaurant, room service and lounges.
The suitable candidate will have proven experience within 5* hotels, high end restaurants . You will be enthusiastic, passionate, flexible and creative. You will have excellent communication skills, a good team work attitude and attention to detail.

The role involves all aspects of head chef duties that includes afternoon teas as an added bonus to your remit of running the fine dining restuarant. Duties include stock control and ordering, monitoring wastage, menu creation and costing, staff training and development, ensuring all staff members are working to the set recipes and standards. Hours and shifts with the business demands. Two days off per week contracted to 45 hours per week

Salary is £50k with great company benefits a monthly tronc. plus approx. £1.5k per annum gratuities. The ideal Head chef will have a fine dining background within Restaurants or Hotels
