Are you a craft based Operations Manager, whom is both keen and capable to rolling up their Operations Manager sleeves to get completely involved in all areas of this growing and inspiring Contract Catering business?
Looking for a talented craft based Operations Manager, who has hands on experience as a Head/ Development chef but also has aspirations within Operations Management and whom can lead from the front.
You will have a successful track record within hospitality, ideally from a branded commercial operation or B&I focused contract caterer, plus you will have an extremely high passion for food, development, and customer service, but also along with the MD, be happy to get your hands dirty as and when it is required.
Having had a craft/ chef background is essential to this role of Operations Manager, so this role is ideal for a Development Chef whom wants to step up into Operations Management, or indeed and existing Operations Manager with a strong Chef/ development chef background.
As Operations Manager you will have key involvement in new openings, mobilisations, problem solving, all whilst being hands on with the Team, and where no two days or clients are the same.
This role for an Operations Manager would not be for the faint hearted, as you would need to go over and above, to collectively achieve the required goals for both company and clients alike.
You must be a self-starter who can show initiative and take ownership whilst working well as a part of a team, but often at times be a stand alone character with a much loved passion for all things hospitality.
Responsibilities of Operations Manager will include:

Ensuring consistency across the growing brand.
Take lead of presentations to win new bids.
Working with new and exciting teams
Work with local suppliers to ensure the sourcing of fresh ingredients for the business.
Be hands on both front and back of house (Craft background)
Being client facing and adaptable to each noes needs and requirements.
Be innovative and support the senior leadership team.
Working within both Education and B&I commercial sectors
Working on occasions evenings and some weekend for new openings and mobilisations

The Successful Candidate:

Craft trained or hands on experience in high end catering experience.
Client facing
Experience of B&I or Commercially branded hospitality businesses
Truly passionate about food
Excellent customer relations
Excellent communicator.
Can do and flexible working attitude
Comfortable with sales presentations
