This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales and Events Manager to work in a beautiful historic venue in the City of London.
As Sales and Events Manager, you will manage an array of events from weddings, social events and corporate events. Managing the process from taking the initial enquiry through contract stage and then planning and finalising all requirements.
There will be a mixture of internal events which are booked one year in advance and these bookings will require you to confirm final details such as menus, timings and logistics.
The external bookings are mainly corporate bookings where you will manage the whole process from enquiry through to contract negotiations, planning and logistics and handover with the operations team.
As Sales and Events Manager you will not be managing a team, however will manage the event diary and take responsibility of the events office duties. You will have support from the wider sales team and venue general manager. With this in mind, we are looking for someone with good solid experience in reactive sales as well as all office proactive sales.
This is a Monday to Friday role working from 9am to 17.00 with some additional evenings and weekends as required. Reporting into the venue general manager and a dotted line into the Head of Sales and Marketing.
