Shaun began working within the hospitality sector when moving south from his home town of Durham in the late 80’s. Having spent almost ten years progressing within commercial kitchens he then made the significant decision to branch into operations, working on new openings, which took him from various towns and cities such as Glasgow to Brighton whilst retaining his base in London.
Shaun then moved into hospitality recruitment. Over the past 21 years Shaun has gained an in depth understanding of the industry, focusing primarily on culinary roles across all levels from Sous Chef upwards. He has gained valuable experience working within established recruitment companies; including ten years with Collins King and previously five years with Cartwheel Recruitment. Shaun enjoys working with true professionals and continuing to learn and adapt.
Shaun supports a host of market leading Foodservice businesses with their chef recruitment, along with many of London’s private members clubs, in-house operators, restaurants and hotels.
